How do Chinese women spend their free time when they are at home.~ Generallyspeaking, most of them enjoy watching TV, reading books, listening to music, shopping,doing home improvement and so on. Their preference has also changed.From this diagram we can find that watching TV, visiting friends and doing someshopping are the most popular home-based leisure activities. The percentage of listening toradio is just 40%. More Chinese women have come to enjoy reading books since they allknow the importance of knowledge. Being very time-consuming, needlework and knittinghave now become less popular. There are now few Chinese women feel like to do themthan there were ten years ago. Using computer or surfing on the internet in 1992 wasinfrequent for Chinese women. But along with the development of technology, theseactivities are becoming more and more preferred. They use computer to do their work, tochat with their friends, to play games and gain the news. So it increases the fastest.
From above analysis, we can get a conclusion that almost all Chinese women are happywith watching TV because it is very comfortable and interesting. During the ten years, itspopularity doesnt change much.
